I’m already recognizing that my little boy is a very independent spirit… much like his mother. *Cue the peanut gallery* I choose to celebrate this and the challenges that may come. May God give me joy and patience.
So I made a straight up awesome dinner- but I had to pass Josh off to Dave to make it to an appointment this evening. When I got home, the baby was asleep, the kitchen was clean and the house was quiet. I am now eating my dinner in blissful peace. David Lin wins…. everything.
Spoke to a grandfather today at Starbucks who was the only man in his platoon to make it back from Vietnam. I’m still letting that sink in.
